Amid the flutter of lace-trimmed dresses and radiant-cut diamonds come plenty of other trends, fashion moments and designs that rise in popularity.

Not to mention, with wedding season seemingly falling around September time — based on peak-high prices and plenty of conversations we’ve had with brides of all ages — it can be difficult to pinpoint what’s just a fad and what is here to stay.

“When it comes to rings, sustainability seems to be playing an increasingly important role,” Aya Kanai, head of editorial and creative at Google Shopping, exclusively shared with the New York Post. “Over the past year, ‘lab grown diamond engagement rings‘ were searched two times more than ‘natural diamond engagement rings.'”

For wedding dresses, search interest for ‘casual wedding dresses‘ is at a 10-year high, per Kanai. “There has also been a rise in other nontraditional dresses such as ‘pearl wedding dress,’ which is currently being searched more than ever in the US.,” she adds.

Oh, and you can’t skip the bridesmaids. “For those attending weddings as bridesmaids, the bridesmaid dress colors with the most search interest include yellow, lavender, hot pink, icy blue and moss green,” Kanai lists. “We’ve also seen an increased interest in ‘floral bridesmaid dresses,’ with searches reaching a 10-year high in January of this year and ‘terracotta bridesmaid dress’ reaching a 10-year high this past February.”

Ahead, we list some of the most popular retailers, destinations, styles and items to shop ahead of your wedding — based on our expertise and the of-the-moment trends and consistent searches Google Shopping has seen. Plus, find some more trends below. (Related: Wedding dress code guide).

“Men’s formal wear has remained relatively steady, neutral and earth-toned colors maintaining popularity,” Kanai told The Post. Interestingly, the top trending suit colors over the past year are navy, green, gray and blue.

Over the past year, new shapes and colors increased in popularity. “In 2015, search interest for ‘oval engagement rings’ surpassed ’round engagement rings,’ and continues to be searched more in the U.S. today,” Kanai notes. “This year however, ‘elongated cushion cut’ emerged as the top trending engagement ring stone cut over the past year.”

Additionally, the top trending engagement ring colors over the past year were pink, green sapphire, black, turquoise, and aquamarine (in that order), per Kanai. “When it comes to ring metal, ‘white gold’ was the most popular, and ‘boho’ was the top trending engagement ring style over the past year,” she adds.

Google Shopping data also shows that people want more sparkle in their engagement rings, but also want that sparkle to be subtle, nodding to the rising search volume in ‘hidden halo engagement rings’ increased a whopping +750% since 2018, according to Kanai’s insights.

As mentioned, society is currently in their “lab-grown diamond” era. Whatever ring cut or clarity you choose, we recommend Blue Nile as one of the best places for sustainable diamonds (yes, you can order rings online — it’s as easy as that!)

To tap into the pearl wedding dress trend this year, opt for the BHLDN Clemence Beaded Overlay Mesh Wedding Gown. With this style, you can be comfortable for your special day — from photoshoots and your ceremony to your reception and even your after-party. Plus, it’s simplistic and elegant.

Birdy Grey is a premier retailer for bridesmaid dresses, and we recommend its Spence Chiffon Lavender Convertible Dress for a sweet option that’s on-par with the color trends as of late. With its off-the-shoulder style, it’s one of our favorites.

For dainty florals, we can’t recommend the Lulus Budding Blossoms Floral Embroidered A-Line Maxi Dress enough. It’s less than $100 (which your bridesmaids will be happy about) and will look photogenic in photos next to the bride’s white silhouette. On-point.

Is is just us, or is everyone opting for terracotta this year? That’s what Google Shopping noted after all, and the Birdy Grey Kensie Terracotta Satin Dress is just the perfect option. With a side slit and one-shoulder detailing, consider it your most elegant ensemble.

Navy suits are in, per Google Shopping, and we’re not complaining one bit. The Banana Republic Hugh Herringbone Linen Suit Pant has it going on, and you can add its other matching pieces on its style page to your cart prior to checkout. Not to mention, linen will ensure you stay breathable all day.
